Dr Nadia Farzana Islam Gratuated from chittagong Medical College under the university of Chittagong 2002

She joined government service under the ministry of health and family welfare in 2006.

She served as an assistant registrar in Department of Casualty, Dhaka Medical College Hospital, in Department of surgery, Chittagong General Hospital as an Medical officer in Department of General Surgery Chittagong Medical College for 4 Years.

She completed her FCPS in general surgery from Bangladesh College of Physician and Surgeon (BCPS) in 2014.

She Worked as an assistant registrar and then junior consultant at  Department of Surgical Oncology in National Institute of Cancer  Research and Hospital (NICRH) for 2 years.

Since 2016 she has been working as a junior Consultant and then assistant professor at Kurmitola General Hospital in the Department of  General surgery.

She holds almost 10 years experience in general  surgery and has special fascination for breast cancer surgery, Laparoscopic and colorectal surgery.
