Dr. Tawfiq Shahriar Hug Graduated from Dhaka Medical College and Completed post-graduation in Cardiology from BSMMU (Diploma Cardiology) and Dhaka University (MD in Cardiology).

Currently he is serving at national Heart foundation hospital & Research Institute as associate Professor & Senior Consultant in the Department Of cardiology.

He started his Career as assistant as assistant surgeon for the government of Bangladesh.

Later he joined National Heart Foundation And served as registrar and assistant Professor 

During his carrier her received training in reputed institutes in india and France 

Besides Coronary Intervention (angiogram And stenting) Dr. Tawfiq has special in dealing with congenital heart diseases and has to his credit more than 1500 cases of percutaneous  closure of congenital shunts.
